WORLD PREMIERE: INTO THE LIGHT

Recently nominated for two National Dance Awards Best Independent Company and Emerging Choreographers, PCK Dance has quickly risen to become one of the UK’s most exciting contemporary dance voices. Having toured to major stages across Asia, Europe, and the USA, the company brings its latest bold and emotionally charged production to Cornwall for the very first time.

INTO THE LIGHT features two electrifying works: 

VESSEL (2025/26 Version) 

Freshly reimagined as a powerful trio, VESSEL has been redeveloped with the support of Creative Scotland. The work explores themes of containment, vulnerability, and transformation through PCK’s signature blend of athletic physicality and hypnotic visual storytelling.

IN THE ABSENCE

A striking due that delves into distance, connection and the spaces between people - both literal and emotional. This work showcases the company's dynamic range and depth. 

Elevating the entire experience is a stunning LED lighting display, designed to sculpt the performers in real time and heighten the emotional landscape of the choreography. The result is a visually immersive experience that merges dance, light, and atmosphere in a uniquely captivating way. 

As part of its commitment to community engagement, PCK Dance will also host a curtain-raiser performance with local dance students from Moon Dance Studios — bringing a local voice to this extraordinary premiere. 

This premiere marks the first stop on a 20+ date UK tour — and a rare opportunity for Cornish audiences to experience world-class contemporary dance before it hits national stages.
