Peat-Fest South West will launch on Sunday 27th July 2025. We’re delighted to host Art & Energy at Sterts, who will be presenting a very special celebration of peatlands to mark the beginning of their regional project.

Funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund, this is a free event suitable for all ages!

Join us for a day of dance, walks and creativity featuring:

  • Far Flung CIC who will perform The Mossy Story in the Sturrock Studio.

  • ‘In Search of Bogs’ a guided walk and talk with Art & Energy to a nearby peatland location where you can look for mosses and learn about the local peatland environment.

  • VR headsets to explore virtual peatlands with the Virtual Peatland Pavilion and the IUCN UK Peatland Programme

  • Silent disco nature bog noises with Moss Pit and RE-PEAT
