Nestled on the edge of Bodmin Moor within 4 acres of theatre, gallery and green space, Sterts is a growing creative community with a 400-seat Barn Theatre, 60-seat Studio, Gallery, Community Hub and extensive outdoor areas. It's a place where creativity and nature thrive!
Come and join us! Here's three ways you can get involved this summer!

1. Rent a Studio Space
We have two artist studios available to rent - a rare opportunity to base yourself in one of Cornwall's most unique arts and performance venues.
Main Studio - 24.9 sqm with its own kitchenette, toilet and separate entrance
Small Studio 0 13.2 sqm with a lockable joining door and separate entrance
Both studios include electricity, Wi-Fi and free onsite parking. There's even the option for overnight campervans. The same artist can rent both spaces, or two artists can share the larger studio.
This is more than just a room - there's real potential to exhibit your work and collaborate with other creatives on site.
To apply, send an expression of interest with links to your work to samanthaspake@stertsarts.org.
We're happy to have a chat and show you around.
2. Sell Your Work in Our New Retail Space
We're launching a brand new retail area in our Hall Gallery & Community Hub, and we're looking for beautiful, original work to fill it.
Our visitors and audiences are arts-lovers who appreciate handmade, one-of-a-kind pieces - and we want to offer them gifts and keepsakes that reflect the creative spirit of Sterts and the wider Cornwall arts community.
We're particularly interested in: prints, ceramic, textiles, jewellery, giftable pieces with that special something!
If this sounds like your work, we'd love to hear from you. Email your links and wholesale list to samanthaspake@stertsarts.org
3. Stock the Supamatic Vending Machine
Yes, really. We've partnered with Supamatic to bring a creative vending machine to Sterts - and we want to fill it with small, original work by local artists and makers.
Think mini prints, zines, small objects, collectibles, cards, games and interactive or nostalgic pieces. If it fits in a vending slot and it's got personality, we want to know about it.
Your art. In the wild. Seen daily by visitors, stocked in a real-world space, part of a growing creative network.
